Does anyone know how to grow and maintain your own golf green for putting?

You need plenty of direct sun, good drainage system, a big concert roller to flatten the green, and a special green mower to cut......might as well go BFG to get an instant green.

Fertilizer is also important.

In the olden days, recycling was very evident then...what goes in, must come out.

What is 'instant green'? Is it like those artificial turf for putting you see at the range? How much does that cost?

Did a few searches and yeah, maintaining your own small greens seems labor intensive. I'm thinking 10 x 2m should be manageable

Putting green tough lar... a lot of work.

Chipping green can. I have made so many divots in my garden that my wife has given up.

All you need to do is get some sand (from any golf course) and the grass grows back pretty quickly! Smile
