Pre-order for SLDR by TM

Hi, anyone has more info or tried this Driver by TM can provide some insight? The email ad also stated that first 120 paying customers will get invited to a free round of golf too with T&C applies.

Id suggest u wait a few months for more reviews to be published, demo days and more importantly for GD to sell it at half price lor

Pls la...the reason for buying on pre-order promo is the free golf. 

The other reason  maybe is for die hard TM fans who die die must play it before EVERYBODY else does. but for them, they dont need feedback mah. Any new club from TM is a must buy.

But if you really need to know how this club plays...wait till u can test it yourself on demo days. Skip forumer reviews, as if everyone swings the same or have same taste.

In a nutshell, it seems there are distance gains with the SLDR technology for the high handicapper all the way up through to pro level.

At the launch yesterday, saw a prominent local pro, who's known to be a long hitter, pound one 325 yards on the simulator. His regular driver gives him 305 yards.

Quite a few golfers of varying handicaps also said they hit it further and that the club had a solid stable hit.

The explanation was that the the lower forward CG makes the clubhead more stable, and it also moved the sweet spot lower down the face towards the sole, making the club more forgiving. So for those that top the ball, the ball now goes further.

KNS, they keep coming up with these things to make me salivate. 20 yards. thats a lot leh.

the free game by the way, if I'm not mistaken, happens on the 1st of November.

Rocketballz add 17 yards, R1 add 10 yards, SLDR add another 20 yards.

my driver should be 300 yards by now.. :p

But we all know it doesnt work that way right...

I'll gladly give up distance for better dispersion.

Think they had one QC reject with a typo error, was wondering why they brought it along.

tks all, tat's why i'm going to try it out as Birdman suggested, for to me feel is utmost impt as individual's skill-set level varies, certainly......afterall, demo is non-obligational right?!

I heard the free round of golf will be played at OCC on 1st Nov =)

pay so much just to get 1 round of golf in OCC? guest on wkdays abt $120-140? assuming that sldr is abt $500 u can go play 2-3 times there liao.
