Anyone order from Rakuten before?

As the topic, anyone has tried ordering from the website before? Any shipping problem?

No issue. EMS pretty fast shipping with tracking too

Communication with the Japanese is not easy as most of them can't type English well. But u must try to communicate with them before you buy, because they may not ship international even they post their items for sale in the global Rakuten.

If that's so, then you will need to use vPost Japan, where some worries comes in too, the Japanese may be too cautious and afraid that your item get damage during shipment so they will usually pack the item in an oversize box, put lotsa peanuts or bubble wrap. So vPost will charge you not only according to weight, but the box dimension. End up you may pay very much extra for shipping charges.

Once I shipped in a driver headcover by vPost and the shipping alone cost me $120. Yes; $120 doesn't include the price of the headcover.

Online buying, the best experience is still eBay, I've been buying there since 2003 and nothing funny ever happen coz every item I'm going to buy, I will definitely contact the seller and make sure the he replies, make sure the shipping instruction is clear.
