| I started to boycott golf house ever since the pinoys were employed as sales guys. If female still ok, but the male pinoys really turns me off when they show the face when I didn't get anything from them. | |

| it's quite normal for GH standards. lack of basic service courtesy. been to a few different outlets always experience a lacklustre service from them. overseas GH is okay. I went to the Malacca outlet, really sincere n courteous service. might be a one off thing but the service staff was really sincere about it. | |

| been having decent experience at GH paragon. sales staff mostly pinoys and no problems at all. i tried many clubs there on many occasions, chit chat and i usually walk in very casually dressed. didnt get discriminated, either that or i am thick skinned and dont really give a damn by the way, GH at 313 is no longer in operation. was at 313 last week and wanted to check out some clubs but discovered GH to be closed. RSH is still there though. | |

| Bro toonified, sorry to hear of your unfortunate conversation Suntec GH is one of my fav hang outs to touch and look see equipment, apparels and accessories while waiting for my missus to knock off work. So I'm kinda felt bad for you as I always encountered very friendly staffs always willing to help me despite me not buying loads of stuffs there
Before more people jump onto the bandwagon, let me clarify a few points (btw, I'm not related to GH or RSH) (1) William is the main club fitter at the fitting studio at the back of the GH suntec outlet and if you need any custom fitting, he is the go-to guy, not the other sales staffs outside. He is not a smooth salesman but he is a very experienced and qualified fitter and I bet he is not the guy speaking to bro toonified (actually I kinda guess who already)
(2) I hear some guys who complain of Filipino GH sales staffs. I think that is discrimination on your part. I've encountered really friendly and helpful Filipino sales / customer service staffs in GH and elsewhere. Of course there are some bad ones but hey, Let's not make sweeping statements.
(3) GH has many outlets in major shopping malls providing convenience to golfers to easily assess them. These malls in prime locations charge premium rents unlike those in industrial parks. So for the price sensitive golfers, perhaps parallel importers or used equipment may be the way to go. I feel that we are going off topic if we started comparing prices here
I'm sure there will be others who have pleasant experience there (like me). Unless you have been personally aggrieved by GH suntec yourself, I suggest you reserve passing judgement. The GH suntec team is probably not the smoothest and slickest sales and marketing folks. But I dealt with many of them to know that most mean no malice. Again, its OK that we agree to disagree

| I have purchased from various GH outlets before. Staffs are generally courteous and helpful regardless of whether local or foreign sale staffs. | |

| I frequent GH at Suntec (and previously at Marina Sq) often and I've never had a problem with the staff. Yes, they can be a bit pushy at times but they aren't rude or overzealous in their tactics. More often than not, they would encourage the purchase but if you explain your skill level or budget, they'd understand and not urge you further.
That said, I always recommend that you do your homework before walking into any shop, whether it's a GH or others. This way, you would have better understanding of what you want, why you need it and how much you're willing to pay. Once the item falls outside your "scope," move along.

hi shorthitter, totally agree with you. Encountered some at petrol station, even though they are not earning much but the attitude is simply better than any high class dinning house....salute their attitude in work and life and they teaches me a lesson...." Its not abou the work you are in, its about the mindset in you on work..."

| Service standards in Singapore are not the best. I'm not suggesting that we compare ourselves to other countries where it's deplorable, but there's definitely room for improvement.
And, yes, I get great service at the Caltex near my place. The pump attendants are very helpful and courteous and the cashier ladies are always cheerful.

| Service in Singapore? Don't hold your breath as it's literally a joke and always will be. (There'll be few exceptions though) The Swiss lady recently in the news for allegedly 'refusing' to sell a handbag to Oprah, and the Swiss tourism office? Now that's service. Good on them! | |

| If the average handicap of a male golfer is 16, then is beginners, mid and high handicappers should be their target groups. Low handicappers would hardly change their equipment unless is fully utilized. They will never know whats your driver length, what you use to drive. Got time i also want troll people as life is too boring | |

| Usually we go though some sort of discrimination as beginners/learners, similar to driving a car. That's life. If beginner or just picking up this game, I think it's better get a 2nd hand set, which is easily available here or elsewhere. | |

| Local staff at another branch told me that the company is now operated by a non sports related organisation. As such, the company is only interested to see if GH can be a cash cow for the holding company since it was listed under RSH before. It's only time they will sell GH as the market has already saturated. Golfers now no longer buy expensive equipment much to the same they pay to play the sport. Commissions from sales are harder to gain these days cos golfers kinda wait for bargains on ads. | |

| I've also received good after sales support from GH. I once had an Ogio bag which caused me problems. I went back to GH and complained about it. They discussed this with Ogio and soon after replaced my Ogio bag | |
