| Wow never go for "golf shopping" for some time then yesterday having appointment at Suntec so after that went for a walk at Golf House.
Upon entering saw the TM display on the right so as a TM fan, i shift over for a look...
Then saw this Burner TP!!! Not Tour Burner... Damn chio man!!! At address looks like a blade on the top cos they make it so slim now... but it is still a CB like my Tour Burner. As I need to report back to OC so never ask for testing...
Tried to find the TM website but dun seems to find the detail or pic of this... how come leh???
Anyone tried? Is this iron nice?

| Difference between the TP and non-TP models is in the offset, if i recall correctly. Also, I think the Burner TP is supposed to be forged, whereas the Tour Burners were cast (I could be wrong on this one). Either way, it's pretty decent stuff, though I would personally just get a set of blades if you like low/no offset with thin toplines -- eiji is making the move to blade irons and he's finding that it's not that hard to play - go ask him | |

| the process of making the irons differs between forged and cast...
there is arguably a difference of 'feel'...
however forged irons are agjustable and can be bend for different lie angles and cast irons cannot...
this is the gist of it...

| in short brief notes cast = liquid metal cooled in a mould forge = process of heating and milling of the metal
in the past cast was very much inferior due to the process of cooling which can present small air bubbles trapped within the final product, which makes the end product not as uniform and dense as a forge metal.
forged was always the preferred method for metal products, from golf clubs to car rims.
