yes i noticed the balls really dun have wings. If u been to OCC, u'll notice they change balls twice a year. If I'm not wrong they should be doing it soon. Maybe after the Handa.

I oftern found crack balls in Bishan, but not so often in OCC. Even since OCC removed the entrance fee, I more frequent to OCC, balls cheaper and better. Also parking is never a problem. Lastly now they got promo here and there, make it even a bonus.

sorry if my words are hash.
1) can repair the roof ? when rain.. the shelter can't cover us properly
2) remove the ERP I agree with Ahnah. There are a couple of times when a group of my friends and myself could not find a mat area space that is free from water dripping from the shelter when we are having lessons on the ground floor during rainy days. Not to mention the malfunction balls dispenser and balls not dispensed after the amount is deducted from the range card, there was once where there is no balls in ball dispenser hence lesson were postponed as a result. That was damn disappointing and frustrating for we have already made our way to the range. Enwee is right. The balls and mats are in rather bad condition and I still do find crack balls occasionally. The worse part is that the range ball do STAIN my club. Jimm, do take note and convey the above to your grandfather so that our future ranging sessions at Bishan would be a pleasant one. Thanks.

On the part about the balls staining your clubface after striking , it is normal. It happens everywhere and even on actual balls. Gives you an insight on where you hit the ball and whether if you had good ball contact. A simple wipe with the towel will remove them. Not to worry about that.

when matt are thin worn out and you divot the ball, some times you could feel the soreness on your arms.

- Really gotta admit bishan is one of the worst driving ranges. Went there on fri n 2 of the ball dispencer machines wasnt working.
Thats becos the range is going to give way to the new under ground expressway exit n entry. So really no point spending more money. if so why are they still spending money to build the carpark gantry? Build gantry can make money
Cos theres a bar. And a used car dealer there. If everyone park there but not customers of bar n car dealer n golf range. They will lose money. Cos theres no parking lot for customers.
Theres no need to repair the ball dispenser machine. Cos theres no long Q . So strictly speaking one machine can handle all golfers demand. This is to my surprise, it charges about 2 hours for $4, almost $2/hr (compared to URA only charge $1/hr) Just hope that when they charge for carpark usage and maybe come out to have carpark rebate system where people using the range can validate their cash card and get some complimentary parking amount. Otherwise, it is a mindset for most people to have no more visit or much lesser visit to Bishan Range. This can be seen that the range is less occupy last night.
