Bishan Range

Hi Folks,

Went down to Bishan range yesterday. Seems that they are installing electronic parking gantries. Not sure when they will be operational though...

Just a headsup.

Thanks for the info. I was there on fri (usually) and saw the contractors doing some drills n painting works, now I know why!

No more free parking in the future!

Already one of worst range in sg liao still need to pay for parking? Haiz perhaps the next time more so call "good bros" from next door will visit

I am sure have first 2 hours free type. Maybe to discourage people from the car workshop building from parking there.

Really gotta admit bishan is one of the worst driving ranges. Went there on fri n 2 of the ball dispencer machines wasnt working.

Yea, ground floor machines always deduct my money but don't dispense ball. End up climbing upstairs to the office and use the machines there instead.

I was there yesterday morning and both machine on the ground floor not working. Also the entrance and exit same lane because of the renovation. Quite dangerous, almost head on.

Build gantry can make money

Cos theres a bar. And a used car dealer there.
If everyone park there but not customers of bar n car dealer n golf range.
They will lose money. Cos theres no parking lot for customers.

Theres no need to repair the ball dispenser machine. Cos theres no long Q .
So strictly speaking one machine can handle all golfers demand.

In the past 1 year, JCC, Bishan range, Fairway Club added gantries to their car parks. Monkey see, monkey do!

avoid Grisham range completely then...
Their range balls leave a mark on the equipment too

I do hope they will have that first 2 hrs free thing though, if it's to deter folks from parking at the range to go KTV or even prawning that's understandable. But to penalize golfers like this, given that the crappy condition of the range (that's an understatement!), that's akin to committing business suicide...

1) can repair the roof ? when rain.. the shelter can't cover us properly

2) remove the ERP
