| Weather ruined my fun yesterday and I only have limited testing. I am never good with reviews, but here is my quick review.
I shafted the R1 with MRC's new Diamana B-series 50 gram at Neutral position, which is 10*. I hit this shaft in my Callaway RAZR Fit (8.5*, Open) before I remove the tip and put it in the R1 to give me a comparison of how the head compared to my gamer with the same shaft.
The graphic did not really bother me once at address position. Feel is just ok when you strike sweet spot, anywhere outside the sweet spot you feel like hitting a thick can. The sound at impact reminded me of the sound of the original R11. Both feel and sound are not to my taste, world apart than my Callaway RAZR Fit I am playing right now.
However, the ball flight surprised me even at 10* of loft. Having been disappointed with their previous 2 or 3 offerings, I did not expect the R1 to be a good improvement over the R11s. Especially when I used to think that this is just an R11s with different tip setting. Balls penetrate into the wind very well and it gives strong trajectory.
Later on, the Trackman numbers confirmed that the spin on this head is low indeed. Ball speed is not outstanding, though. But overall, the combo gives good distance. Maybe I need a bit of getting used to and further dial-in this head, but my gamer gives me better distance over the R1. Dispersion is comparable, though. Time permits, I will try and dial this head and see it gives me better numbers.
The RBZ Stage 2 15*, shafted with Graphite Design AD DI7s (a pullout test shaft I got laying around the shop, gathering dust) is an improvement over last season's RBZ. Easier to hit off the ground and launch much much easier. Distance wise, I do not think it is any longer than the previous one. Dispersion is definitely better as it does not tend to go low-left on me. All in all, it is a much easier beast to handle. Again, time permits, I will put in my own shaft and see how it goes. Got a tourney coming up tomorrow, can't mess around with my gamer.
Sorry for the horrible reviews.

I have yet to compare them side by side, but something tells me that the Callaway X Hot lines could be better than the RBZ lines. I might be wrong, though. Won't know for sure until I hit them.
