Getting HCP from overseas?

Sorry if this topic has been discussed before

It's becos my 6-mth validity PC has recently expired and I have not collected the required number of score cards for the HCP test/CR. If possible, I do not wish to renew the PC, which is a waste of money

My question is -- Under this circumstances, if I wish to do a HCP test out of SG and then do a transfer in, will that be a plausible idea? What things to look out for if I wish to collect score cards from courses i.e. M'sia, bintan, batam, etc. (recognition from SGA, etc)?

I know I can collect the 5x18-hole course score cards from M'sia, batam, Bintan courses, etc. And I have asked one of those SGA affiliated clubs on the procedures and stuff, and was told that most of them don't require PC to play. Is that correct?

I have also read through the forum and found out that Palm Villa also do HCP test (which I'm still checking some other details with them). Hmm..apparently Palm Springs also do HCP test and maintenance from what I read on their website.. Not sure if anyone has done that before?

The affiliated club which I had spoken to told me that PC is not required for the HCP test. It's only needed becos we need it to play on SG course for the test.

if u have been playing and have your scorecards, u can call up golfallianze, big3golf and i am sure other virtual clubs as well, to arrange for a courtesy round.
