I'VE DONE IT BEFORE. i chose 2hybrid, 7 iron, 56 deg wedge and i regret it.

given another chance, i'll choose a hybrid, 7 iron and putter.

Unless you really practice putting with a wood/hybrid, it feels really weird. haha.

My strategy would be teeing off with the hybrid,
7 iron from 150m and below/chipping.
Putt as usual.

I'll be carrying the following:

- Driver
- 7I
- SW

Driver can use as putter and you can chip or don't go full swing on it, so effectively, we're looking at an 'extra' 6 clubs out of the 3 possible combination.

I have never tried using the Driver off the deck on the fairway before, so I'm not sure if it would be viable using it on a Par 5.....

wah putter really not important? with normal putter already 2-3 putts, but without putter sure die one.

I've tried 9 holes without a putter, and it really is very difficult to putt with a wedge, iron or wood. needs lots of practice

i ended up taking 1-2 more putts than I normally would on every hole

So i would rather have a putter in my bag, even if it means GIR + 1 on every hole.

3 Hybrid, 54 deg Wedge and putter for me. No brainer...

6i, 58 wedge and putter for me....

Depand the course you play? If the distance not that long, can skip all woods, just bring 6 iron, putter and 1 more club which you're comfortable.

3 wood, 8 iron and putter.

I guess bringing a 5hybrid, 9 iron and putter would be good.

Wahahaha! But hor, it needs to go for facial. I even use it to putt from bunker and it happily perform. You took good care of it while I abused it. But I think it's enjoying the adventure with new owner.

I'd bring some extra money to buy beer..
if only 3 clubs I will choose 9-8 iron, long iron or wood and a putter..
