4 hybrid, 8 Iron and putter

7I for 110M to 150M approach shoot
Gap(52) for less then 100M approach, bunker and chipping around green

Never done this before, but don't think this set up will add that much more to my current score. If I ever try will let you guys know

We used to have a 3 club tourny at the club I used to work at and if you can use a lower lofted club to putt with you have the advantage of not needing a putter. If you happen to hit it somewhere that you need loft to get over a bunker or whatnot...Having a wedge is crucial. That is the best mix that I have found so far. Also depends on the length from which you are playing. If it is a shorter course, you might go driver/3wood, 9iron/wedge, putter. It really depends on the distances.

Use woods hybrid as a belly putter? Haven't tried a belly putter before...

Was having this chat a while back with a buddy at the range.

Basically he'd use a wood instead of driver to putt.

Cause the face of drivers might bulge out a bit for the trampoline effect.
