Query on RJCC - Is caddy compulsory?

Hi guys, anyone of you know if it's compulsory to have a caddy at RJCC?

My recent experience with the caddy at RJCC: he lost 2 of my headcovers and still had the cheek to gripe that RM50 per person for caddy tip is too little (ie he got a total of RM100 from me and my friend) bcos the bags were very heavy. The irony is that my bag was a lightweight stand bag that only had 10 clubs. I even carried my own water bottle.

So i figured i much rather walk the course on my own with a half set of clubs. Is this possible?

on golfgreedy think it states that a min of RM 40 is to be given to caddy as tips

Whatever fees u paid through golf greedy or the club directly, does not include Caddie fees.

RJCC caddies are not paid anything from the club. They depend on your tips as their wages.

That said, it remains one of my favourite courses. Love the feel of it and I really get a good round of walking after a game. Just pray it's not too wet or hot.

Well the course is nice and challenging also as many may know, it used to be the venue for iskandar johor open before it shifted to HH.

Heard this rumor of the club going to introduce turfmate due to the lack of caddies another was the course going to be doing some reno as the drainage was poor now. I do hope they do improved the drainage for some part of the course. as for the rest, i hope not as it'll increase the price after this for sure.

The walking is the reason why i became a member of the club. There aren't many walk7ng courses left and to have one so near to my house is too good to pass. Golf can finally be an exercise!

I totally lost my breathe the first time i walked at rjcc and that was the time i decided this was the club for me. I had to become a member t to save my life

have to use club as walking stick....

Last time when I was there, I was told left with only one now the work permits were not renewed for the rest.
