Query: New zealand Golf courses

Hi guys I'll b spending 2 weeks in new Zealand this December. I'll b driving around north n south island. But Iv only got time for 1x18 holes. Any recommendation on a must-try golf course?

THere are 2 must-try NZ courses:
1. Kauri Cliff at Bay of Islands
2. Cape Kidnappers at Napier

The other courses that are good include:
1. Gulf Harbour - North of Auckland
2. Wairakei - Taupo
3. Clearwater - Christchurch
4. Milbrooks - Queenstown

Depends on your budget, Kauri Cliffs and Cape Kidnappers are amazing, but expensive.

If you are in a budget, then Waitangi (Bay Of Islands) is fantastic and cheap, there are so many courses there that are great.

Be aware that many do not have Pro Shops so you pay your green fees in an honesty box, there is no one to take your money, so consequently no hire clubs and no buggies.

In the South Island Terrace Downs in my opinion is a better course than Clearwater. Millbrook, Pegasus are also better.

Once again there are budget tracks that are nice in both Islands.

I will be up North in December if you get lonely.....
