| Hi all,
I have a question about the normal pace of play for 18 holes. Being a beginner, I sometimes feel that our pace is too slow as the group behind has to wait for our flight before they can proceed. Could anyone enlighten me on what's the typical pace, and what is considered too slow? Thanks a lot!

| Hi Awth...generally max 36hdcp/flight. Many golf courses included time of playing for each hole on the scorecard. | |

| between 3h30 and 4h30 is consider a good pace for 18 hole . I'm not including the rain delay . Which is consider as 15min per hole Maximum | |

| thanks for the tips guys. 3h30 seems really fast for my current standard of play - any idea if it's more relaxed in jb? | |

| yups its much more relaxed in JB the further u get away from the city...try playing on Monday PMs where u r about the only flight on the course..LOL ... oso if u feel pressured by the presence of the back flight, allow where possible, for the back flight to overtake your flight... agree 3h30 is pretty fast which is ok for say 2ball but for a 4ball in JB can be bt 4h30-5h30 lah no worries! | |

Wkdays 3h30min, that's quite fast. But how many balls? Btw to let someone overtake, used par 3 and call on, so that you'll not be slow down by too much also you can let faster players overtake.

Max 36 handicap per flight means everyone has to be single leh 36/4 = 9.

| Usually you can check your pace of play / timing with the time sheet that Ye Marshall places in your buggy ( Singapore courses). | |
