| Going to Bali for hols. and probably fit in one round of golf at Nirwana. Wondering if should bring my own golf set or just rent the clubs there. what do most members do in such cases? | |

| Just out of curiousity. What kind of clubs do they typically have for rental and how much is it if you choose not to bring your own clubs there?

| Recently I played at Bali Nirwana and New Kuta Golf. I brought my own set. It's a bit troublesome, but it's worth the trouble as we all want to enjoy the games | |

| I just played at Nirwana Bali yesterday. The view is fantastic for some holes, over looking Tanah Lot temple and some rice paddy terrace but course condition similar to NSRCC. In fact the green condition in NSRCC is slightly better. For 175usd before tax, once is enough. | |

| For me if I'm going solely for golf I would bring my clubs but if I'm just squeezing in a game for the trip the I would just rent as lugging around a golf bag is no joke. | |

| I also bring my clubs wherever I go. Fly with the clubs, unless it is really troublesome. The feel is different compared to own clubs. Try playing more than 1 round, it feels more worth it. | |

| I agree with focalpoint that new kuta is better than nirwana
In nirwana. Be careful of the steps like padi fields
I jumped in and whole body mud on hole 3....

Agreed. I feel that New Kuta is better maintained and has a nicer layout. Another plus point is that it's near Nusa Dua and Kuta.

| you should bring..... rental is not so cheap and it's more fun.
New Kuta and Nirwana are both good. Which course you play depends on where you stay and what time your tee off. If you stay in Kuta or Seminyak better play at Nirwana, cos if you play at New Kuta with afternoon tee off, it will take you about one hour or more to get there because of the traffic jam. But if you stay at Nusa Dua then no problem... maybe half hour.

| Everything is very close by in Bali, so bringing your clubs and shoes is very feasible.
The further I fly with more transits in between, the less inclined I am to lug an extra bag around and bear the risk of the clubs getting lost or broken.
