and you can't buy off the shelf cheap solutions like you could with the old cable because Apple decided to install freaking microchips in each of these cables.

so am I. imo Android has caught up and even surpassed iOS. Great navigation apps with embedded google maps. Big screens, flash player is awesome, iphone doesnt even have a back button

the only thing iOS is better at is Facetime. Heard at 4G you dont need a wifi connection to do video call

Actually I don't use Facetime and never will. Dangerous leh especially when you are doing some naughty and don't want your boss or wife to know.

Apple store got stock for iphone 5 now. In case anyone is interested.

but still no stocks of spare lightning cables so still hv to bring that cable from home to office....

I bought the Lightning to 30-pin Adapter for office use. Troublesome leh, to bring adaptor all over the place.
