Does your body and shaft tilt to the right when addressing the ball?

Hes not completely wrong.

Basically hes asking you to have spine angle. which allows you to hit further gives you a better turn , that is , if you can hold your spine angle which honestly im sorry to say non athletic bodies will have trouble to maintain.

But for the shaft lean , always remember the butt of your grip should be more or less pointing to your left hip. more angle for the lower clubs and wedges and should be just about the inside of your left foot on drives. some people set up their driver with the shaft completely straight from their hands and some like to have a little shaft lean. usually for drivers its hands over the ball though.
