addressing the driver and fairway wood swing

hi guys, was wondering how you guys address the driver, hovering off the ground (like bubba watson) or on the ground? Does it make a difference?

The other question is regarding hitting fairway woods. I seem to be hitting down too much like iron shots and dont get much height at all. Do you guys have any ideas how to have the head skim the ground?
