I have reading this thread with great interest. Confirm a vacation with family during end Nov to Hanoi.

I am planning a 3 rounds of golf and the travel agent given courses like Hanoi Golf club, Van Tri Golf club, Chi Linh Star Golf, Kings' Island, Tam Dao Golf club, Royal (Yen Thang) Golf club and etc.

I will only know the hotel location by next week.

In your opinion, if I have only 3 days which one should I be trying?

Weather has been very very wet lately in HCMC and it looks to get wetter if that is even possible.

Travel Advice

For those who are planing to come up to Vietnam for the holidays do bear in the mind the following :

1. Do not flash expensive jewellrey around.
2. Always sling your handbag across your body.
3. Do not stand by the road side and use your handphone.
4. Sling your cameras around your body.

Lately there has been many snatch thefts going on in HCMC.

... and it just keeps getting better and better...

Go for van tri, tam dao and king island. Van tri is private course n supposing to be the best in the north. Enjoy

A good friend recently went to play in the sea side resort town of Nha Trang. About an 1 hr flight from HCMC and about another hrs drive from the Airport to the city.

The golf course is lcoated on an island Called Vin Pearl. COncept is very similar to our Sentosa. He sent me some pics and sharing it here with you guys.

I am personally trying to squeeze sometime out before the end of the year to go play.

JUst had a game of golf yesterday after a long process of rebuilding my game. Manage to bring my putting back to good old days of under 35putts. Even had a 20ft par putt to win the hole + 4 skins. Short game is coming back.

Irons and driver still needs work. Hope to break 100 next year
