i just back from HCMC yesterday night...
The weekend green fees is aro USD150-200, too expensive for me, so give up to stay over weekend....

weekend green fees normally if you go through agent will not be pass USD$100. Let me know next time you are here and I pass you the contact.

Yes, it is not cheap to play golf in Vietnam (just like China).

Winston, is there ways to get better prices. Example : would we able to buy some golf vouchers stuffs, play together with memeber .. etc ?

Buy golf vouchers?? Can only buy from the members. And even then, not all the clubs give vouchers. If you play on weekdays, no need to go through agent as all the clubs will have weekday promos. It will be cheaper than using agents.

As for weekends, using members would be difficult as they themselves might not be playing.

I tried to locate the agent that I last used 2 months back but she is no longer contactable. Will have to source for new one..

It depends actually, if anyone from outside vietnam joining.

External visitors, i will try to plan for 2 games in HCMC and 2 games in either Danang or Nha Trang. If no one intrested, I am off to Nha Trang!!!!!!!!!!!

Still in the process of checking if there are any offers for Nha Trang and Danang.

Average, you can budget about USD$50 per nite for hotel room. If play locally in HCMC and on weekdays, can be as low as USD$50 per game. Including caddy.

Nha Trang golf courses only opened recently in the past 3-4 months. Have yet to travel up there. And the past 3 months have been way too hot to be playing in Nha Trang. That is why planning to play in late October or early November.

The only problem is that Diamond Bay is another 30 mins from the city centre. And the city centre is 45 mins from the airport.

Vinpearl Golf you have to take a ferry to get there.
