| I am rooting for the nice guys like Bubba, Luke, Lee, Phil & Ernie, especially the 2 Brits (Luke and Lee) who has been damn consistent and focused but yet to grab a major. Would be a nice reward to these guys....
Also am hoping drooling pairs or threesomes on Sunday with 5-6 of the exciting players not more than 2 strokes apart... Imagine Phil, Bubba, TW, Rory, Luke, Lee on Sunday fighting to the last hole and maybe 3 of them going for at least 2 play-offs hole before the winner is decided...

| At the risk of stating the obvious, if Tiger can repeat his Memorial form, he will be tough to beat.
His new swing is beginning to hold up better and better under pressure.
From what I've read, the Olympic is not a course where you can hit many drivers. Keeping the driver in the bag works in Tiger's favour judging from recent showings.

Well normally if you win this wk, you'll not win next. Since Dustin won the St Jude Classics last night, I doubt so he'll win next.

Bro, you pick so many but there is going to be one winner only. Would you like to pick your best one to win ?

Hardly see back to back win very often but I do hope Tiger will break this believe and win this US open again on June 17th final day I am not a great fan for Tiger but really to like see someone that was down so much due to personal and family problem but yet can back to start winning again. That's will be a great golfer and sportman indeed ...

| IMHO, not to discredit Lee Westwood, I think he's a good player but there's a big difference between good and great. Also I think the british media overhype him too much, just like they did to the england soccer team or Andy Murray. Personally, if I would to choose a british winner, I think Luke and Rory got a better game to win in the US Open. Ok Rory won it last year, give it to Luke this time round, but hack it, to save the media from writing so much abt the Luke, Rory or Lee. Tiger just win it to solve the media headache what to write..... | |

| In my opinion, the player must not only have experience but also the appropriate killer instinct to win in a Major ... Based on my untrained eyes, many PGA players are only good to win non-major tourney ... Just my 2 cents' worth ...

That's the difference between good and great player. So many one shot wonders out there, someone did said before winning the 1st is easier then the next. Players like Adam Scott, Sergio Garcia etc etc, when they pop onto the scene, everyone said that they will be the biggest challengers to TW but so many years we still see TW as the one and only. Players like TW come only once maybe in every 20 or more years just like MJ in NBA.

| I can't remember what I was doing when I was 14, but one remarkable kid from Shandong China will be teeing it up as the youngest player ever at the US Open.
To kick start his experience, he starts with a practice round with Bubba and Aaron Baddeley today.
