| well literally..Report from Nick Middleton who is working with our very own Mardan Mamat at the Open at Royal Lytham.... Here are some snaps of our man as he takes part in his first day of practice last Tuesday. He was the first Player to use the Practice Range and the only player on the Course having "been granted permission by Peter Dawson R&A CEO (i know Nick has to pull a lot of string to make this happen.) Wednesday & Thursday he shared the course with Graeme McDowell and Rory as well as VJ who he used to Caddy many years ago. Both Graeme & VJ were happy to reconnect with Mardan.      a rare sight of an empty stand...here's MM working with his caddy who is the club champion and knows the course inside out. hope it will help his game too.  enjoy.......DGman | |

| by qualifying and flying the Singapore flag at the Royal Lytham, he has already done us proud.
The Singapore Sports Council and all the sporting association concerned did not put up a single cent for this Singaporean as professional golfers are deemed to represent themselves.
lets hope that good things will happen to MM as it always does in the month of Ramadan.

Ramadan starts next Friday depending on the sighting of the moon most of the european and pga exempted players are at The Scottish Open this week. | |

DGman Its alway nice to see fellow countryman to represent us, but disappoint that our sport council dun do more or nothing to help them.... This golfer is truely one of our own and not like some other sports that they are paying so much for foreign talent......ball that play on table!!!  | |

of course its not as easy as one thinks, its just one more alphabet.
just ask Darren Clarke and he will tell him how impossible the dream can be.
