| Have anyone experience a situation whereby he or she took more than 12 shots and still can't move 1m closer to the hole??????
Yes,,,,, first time ever.....happen to me. Still in total shock
Par 3 at mbgc 15th hole.....tee off short.....bunker was at 2 o'clock direction.
Kns....first time ever.....shank with wedge in hand.....!!! Ball go bunker....spent the next 12 strokes trying to get out...incredible!!!!!
Key learning:
1. Need to be calm after shanking. 51deg wedge, cannot be used to get out of bunker in mbgc.
2. Shanking is not a good thing

| Bro, few years back, also this hole 15, my tee shots went into the right green side bunker. I took 7 strokes to get out and 2 putted for a 10. Last year, i came back and had a Hole In One on the same Hole! So who knows? Maybe your turn is coming... | |

| Duval... Believe me, we were shocked n in denial too.... Jokes aside. We respect your perseverance and honesty... Because many would have just taken the ball using "handwedge"... Hope to play together soon ! | |

| please ppl, do not entertain this seasonal beginner... he just wanted to "boost" his actual score cos he was playing with guy and he was afraid tht guy would perchar his lobang... so he decided to "try" to use a 51 degree wedge to get out of the bunker at mbgc..
had he used a lob wedge, i assure you tht he would have been out in 1 stroke..

| read between the lines..hole 15 white tee is 150m and yet he used a wedge..and reach the bunker!!!! normal mortals use 7 iron or 6 iron..he used a wedge...then go ahead and use 51 to try get out of bunker...meaning he tee off with the 51, walked to the bunker and use the same wedge to try get out....... | |

| I think he is just trying out his new sand shots. The guys he played with, are chicken sh*t in his eyes. So good time to try out new things.

haha actually he teed off with hybrid, duffed the shot about 100m then took the 51 degree for the 2nd shot approach to 2-on the par3, but shanked the 51 wedge into the right bunker where he proceeded to take many shots (to my delight, as we were competing strokeplay), all the while i was also a bit worried the ball would ricochet off the bunker wall into his body

I tried to open my club face to land the ball abit softer.....but did not open my stance enough.... The rest is history....
Let me see stress test this , this coming sat....same plc ...same hole I think
