| i have owned the tourstage z101, titleist 695cb and the fishy irons.... all are players cavity irons
i prefer the fishy sticks than the titties but for sentimental value, i still remeniscene abt my z101 (hard to forget 1st love)....
every few months i rotate the fishy irons and the titties, but the fishy sticks get to play in all the big games... confidence is hard to replicate

| more reviews when stock arrive....otherwise there will be many people with sleepless nights.
like i have said before...besides price, fitting, etc....we are happy when golfers bring them out on the driving range or golf course to test the irons. that way, they can see what the feel translate to in terms of performance. no point having feel but not the performance.

| I'd like to take this opportunity to thank DGman for helping one of my students out with his new 'fishy' sticks! Though I can't use the clubs due to my equipment commitments, I have several friends including professionals who have much to rave about these irons.
It does wonders when you have clubs suited to you.thanks again DGman.
Cheers | |

| Sorry for lobg post. I must say, tearing off the protective plastic film from my new fishy sticks feels damn shiok. Boss Eric fitted me with i80 steelfiber shafts for 5-P. Just got back from the range and all I can say is I made the right decision with my purchase. Very soft and forgiving irons, offcenter hits still feel good and go, just losing a little bit of distance. Good hits feel heavenly. I feel I can really improve with this set of irons. Now I know why all the reviews have been so positive. Should have taken the plunge earlier. Do note I have not even touched on the wonderful time spent in the Den and the guidance (alot for me) provided by the bossman. He actually told me he was not going to sell me anything on my first visit to the Den. He just handed me a demo 7i and asked me to go practice my swing with it. Kudos to boss Eric. You have my trust and respect. Thank you. | |

| Hi DGman, Could you kindly enlighten if your iron set were good for me whose swing speed is in the 90s and also considering my habitual relax swing mode? I have been playing R flex all along for all my clubs. If so, can you spec it out for me and its cost and number of irons in the set? I will be back on the 26 May and will be in town till 2 Jun. Kindly advise a good time I can come over to see you. Thanks, | |

| It's been a week since I visited the den and got myself a birthday present and it is time for me to share my review....
I told Eric that I wanted an iron set which is easy to swing and was considering whether to reshaft my mizuno MP 53 with Steelfiber...
.....Before my visit to the Den, I was half-sold, as I had used Schnell's 5 iron several times during range sessions and experienced its forgiveness. My PM with DGman did not help either when I asked him if the irons are in stock...and he replied yes...Once at the den, Eric made me hit a few shots with trackman, and we shuffled between i80 and i95 which delivered the best results. Impact was smooth and the reduction in weight compared to my previous irons (20g reduction) allowed me to finish my swing effortlessly. Compared to the MP 53, mis-hits on the BFG irons seem to be less harsh...
Undecided, so DGman used 3 shots each in the final showdown between i80 and i95....
In the end, DGman fitted me for the i95 (chose the lightest of the 95s) and i returned home the same day with 2 sets of irons (included the MPs which did not get reshafted) in my bag.
I was advised that 200 balls was required to run-in each shaft. 4 consecutive days of range sessions and 950 balls later, I was amazed how un-fatigue I felt....The irons with SF are truly a joy to hit...
After a break on Thurs, I took the irons out for a spin on Friday and joined a afternoon 9 hole flight with two NSRCC junior golfers. I realised that my divots were shallower (usually my divots will have earthworms coming out) and even mis-hits turned out ok. Even my flight mates commented during a par 3 - "wah, duff also can fly".
Came my actual weekend game earlier today, I was striking the irons with a new found confidence and scores could have come down more if not for my putting ( Backside itchy, I also changed my putter grip to a new one which requires some getting used to). Distance-wise, my irons are more consistent and 5 iron is a joy to wack.
Problem now is that, the soles of the satin finish are more used, and I'm feeling a little heart pain while cleaning them in the evening.....

| Great review DiVotion. its satin finish and the wear will be different from the heavy chrome. we are about out of stock for the fishy sticks and thank you all for your trial and feedback.
ahhoe...come by and we will get you to hit a few shoots and you can take it out for a couple of days. normally it takes between 2 to 3 hours to complete a set and it can be used an hour after collection.

| Seems like most review are provided by good players so far, if dont mind can I share my opinion as newbie? Or rather my skill level still newbie level. Tried the demo 7 iron today at range finally.. Guess what I ended up spending whole afternoon there enjoying the estasy of sweet spot hitting. I still cannot get over it but body cannot take it anymore after 3-4 basket of balls. In brief comparing to my current RBZ set Feel: No match, cast cannot compare to forged Forgiveness: cannot believe even at my skill level I manage to hit quite consistently high ratio of good shots. Distance : to be frank RBZ is further in my case, maybe it's just me. But likely due to the strong loft and shaft length. TM is very good at this, put a 7 on an 6 I spec. However 10-20 m longer but more than 30m left and right in comparison for my case. Anyway I should not conclude to be fair since this is only the first outing.(excuse to extend the T loan period from Eric)
Can someone advise me some non technical issue? How to convince my wife?
