| hi ppl, need some recomm or suggestion.... recently my left wrist is hurting during or after games, not that i play so often. (dun even go to range right now).. my standard is average, thus lots of off-centre hits...and i can feel the impact of the mis-hit from my wrist.... the impact most felt is from the driver... my driver is bought off e-bay, a used mizuno MX700 with a stiff stock shaft. recently i got to try a flt mate driver (which is rare, coz i m a leftie), he is using a titleist driver with a gaman shaft. the feeling is shiok.. makes me wonder if i shld get a new driver, at least my wrist dun feel so painful. any suggestion? i m looking for something tht produce low ball flt (my shots tend to ballon) forgiving, no need to work left or right extra distance? errr, low on budget too.... | |

| feel is also affected by the shaft bro, that shock from impact goes thru the shaft to your hands. Limited budget? second hand 909D2, 9064LS, r9 460 Smooth feeling shaft with spin-reducing, low launching features? keep a look out on pre-loved Graman Proto K on the Marketplace, as quite a few BFG customers are poisoned by the newer Tour AD and Fubuki K or my own Grafalloy Prolaunch Red with Axis Tech. btw, I also injured my wrist. I went TCM and I wear a Phiten bandage when playing. Placebo or not, I do feel more protected hehehehe | |

| I strongly recommend 900d2
Reason? Simple, if it can work for me, it can work for all | |

| Jake you can consider shaft changes but get fitted for the appropriate spec of shaft and then go lookout for used ones. | |

| which graman shaft does your friend have? the white or black paint? White 5 series isn't expensive. can ask frostee for pull outs availability. I even saw one or two pullouts Proto K at the den. Tour Accra is toted as a very smooth shaft too. I havent tried myself so it's just what I heard. Mark Higgs carry it. on word of mouth; I heard blueboard is smooth, I just bought one and I don't think it's smooth..so always try before buy hor you sandbagger..., your buddy mr S C T said you very good. and Didnt Eiji posted recently that you were a monster off the tee? No wonder wrist hurt, slow down la hahaha | |

| Jake i mean go get fit or different shafts,(but it might be tough being you are a leftie. Either way visit a clubfitter and see what he says after looking at your swing, whether you are more suitable for a high/mid/low kick shaft, stiff or regular flex, etc etc, what shaft he would recommend u try.
then buy used versions of those shaft so you don't have to pay full retail.
You hit your driver easily 250m in total, so i am guessing easily a stiff flex shaft, if you prefer something softer feeling, then something from Graphite Design Tour AD range , the Nippon Shafts, Fubuki range would feel good.
just my opinions. | |
