i dont know lah. apparently im the only one on GR that thinks lying about your scores to ask for more strokes and then gambling using those strokes is pretty much the same as cheating?

if chrisD can play 125 i really dont know what to say already.

maybe some people might be offended by my accusing them of cheating but unfortunately this is how i feel about it. the fact is that majority of people do it and dont think anything wrong about it since "everyone else" does it too, especially to build up their handicaps for tournaments. maybe thats why i'll never win a tournament in my life.

it doesn't make me think any less of these people, after all they prob dont even think they are doing anything unethical.

personally i use my handicap as a gauge to see how far i've progressed and as a way to set specific targets for myself. again, this is probably why i'll never win a tournament in my life.

anyway, not sure how many others agree with me but i won't add anymore on this matter. just needed to get it off my chest.

Guy, Don't be so harsh la....
Not everyone takes their golf as seriously and so sometimes the scores are quite high.

Honestly, my normal weekend games, the scores are high. Maybe I lack the concentration and it's more of a weekly social gathering for me. Sometimes I play still hungover, sometimes I go out and try a new swing, sometimes I try some hero shot like trying to draw or fade the ball... I mean I might shoot better scores just playing with my 6i, sw and putter, but it's not as fun... I don't know about the rest of GR ppl la.. but I do honestly shoot some high scores during my regular weekend games...

Honestly wasn't my intention to be harsh or offensive. If it appears that was it wasn't meant to be so. Maybe on Internet quite easy to misinterpret.

In fact after my post on whatsapp talking to aloyboy also I was worried I came across harsh and wondered if I should delete my post.

Think most guys who played with me will know I'm easy going and just say whatever comes to mind without thinking. Like that day during our lohei match I was worried whether I did shout too loudly after my birdie

If the buaya ask for stroke and win, he will be exposed thereafter and wont go far to cheat other people in the forum again lah. Anyway i think most of the people in the forum have their regular kaki here who they play with often, knowing each other standard thus they won't be able to buaya their way.... My $0.02
