| Hmmmm.....seems like the members are all geared up for the showdown; with practice rounds scheduled and all. Nice!
Looking at the number of pairings left e.g 4, we hv decided to release 1 on 29th, 1 on the 30th and 2 on New Year's Eve! After this, the wager and game format would be announced.
Finally, can we summarize that the choice of makan be at East Coast Seafood Centre?

| A Note to all, I just got into the office from my morning round of golf at MBGC. on Wednesdays, the Blue tees are pushed back to the black tee box, the whites are pushed back to where the blues were and the red tee box is pushed to the white tee box.
MBGC is a total different animal. I shot 100+++ and lost $$ to the fairy...

| feb 8th is a wednesday. off black, hole 10 is going to be very very tough. usually against heavy headwind also the long par 3 at the back nine with small green, that is going to be a bitch as well and hole 18, maybe need 7-8 iron to hit a slopey, slippery green very interesting but (on my flight) mloy is hitting from the red and I could be 100m behind! | |

Panji, do not forget. Red Tee Box got pushed back too. zhenxua made sure of it when he met Derek earlier at MBGC just now.

| MC, was the 1st and 10th tee off box right next to the Canopy Cafe?
If it really is black tee, then my money is on Rex piloting my flight home......I, on the other hand, will probably be contemplating giving up golf after the round.....

It would be interesting to tee from there though.

| we leave it to the TD, the Captains and emeritus Captains to decide. We can also tee off from white (or the usual blue) as long as Mloy also tee off from moved-back red tee, I'm OK. Fair mah Bet SHUBBS are just licking their chops.....(actually black or red also same, they're still licking their chops hahahaha) | |

| It's quite fun to tee from black, at least it will not reach the bunker and the 2nd shot decision will be easier. | |

| today, the red tees were not moved back; at some holes, the distance between the red and blue tees could be up to 100m. the number of 400m+ par 4s also cannot be counted with one hand. for long hitters, the fairway bunkers are finally in play ...
i hope derek honours his words, then the gap between M88 and us will not be too big ...
if everyone is for it, and we can get mbgc's consent, let's tee off at the canopy tee for hole 1

| it's stated that the tee-to-centre-of-green distance is 440m from the canopy tee for hole 1, compared to 325m from the blue tee or 350m from black, albeit downhill, the bunkers are definitely out-of-play, at least for me | |
