There is simply a PROFUSION of courses around KL to try. To narrow it down, need to know the requirements. Preferred green speed? Slow or fast? Type of grass - bermuda or cow grass? Scenery important? Maturity of trees? Buggy on fairway or buggy on track? Narrow fairways, great challenge for the accurate or flat, wide beginner-friendly airport runway fairways? Within KL itself or willing to travel slightly outskirt? And of course, budget. There is a combination to meet every possible requirement. You can't throw a stone without hitting a golf course.

| Seri (Silly) Selangor: very challenging greens. As fast as putting on glass. Challenging layout and gnarly roughs. BTW, it is a public course but one of the hardest in KL/Klang Valley
The Mines: Venue for CIMB Asia Pacific Classic (PGA tournament)
Saujana, Palm Course: One word: Tough!!!
KGPA: Public course and also very challenging

| Bro, most of the courses mentioned above e.g. Subang, Saujana, kota permai are all members only courses......sri selangor is a gem and kajang hills are public....skip monterez, it's practically a miniature golf course for a premier league player like yourself....

| Yes, PLENTY of courses to choose from, esp if you have no specific requirement. Here's a list, which contains more than 20 courses. (And I think there's more that's not on the list.) Contains some description of each. Like I said, throw a stone, and you'll hit a golf course. http://www.pulau-pangkor.com/golf-in-kuala-lumpur.html | |

| Looks like there's enough info in this thread to get the OP started on course selection in KL.
FYI, Mines and KLGCC should be closed to public by now... PGA and LPGA stars coming to play this month
