My upgrade to iOS5 got no issue whatsoever... just took a long long time coz I got a few hundred songs in, plus a 600+ apps on my iPhone. Everything worked well, iMessage causes message to appear on the top of the screen so not bothering you when you are inside another apps.

Other apps, bells and whistles like iCloud - not yet tried (good thing if now mobile me can be free - true anot?) --- too busy drunk driving on the course and attacking BB in Laguna.....

I got the Iphone 4 in Feb when we moved here. It crashed a month ago and I got a new one. There is no need for me to get the 4s as I am still under contract.

Read a really informative article as to why they opted to not go with the 5 as it had to do with the 2 year contract cycle among other things. Apparently it was a good idea as the 4s preorders are the highest ever for the Iphone.

Just upgraded to the 5.0 and there are some decent features but does not seem to make much of a difference in performance for me.

DWK not only iMessage then will have notifcation on the top. watsapp, fb, n any notification will now be at the top instead.

to differentiate whether u using data or normal sms count when using iMessage is to see e Send button... Green is still in sms, blue is in data mode to send msg...

yuki, u explore all functions liao ar?? think u can write an 'ip4s operation manual' for starters ... sponsor by "yuki foundation" sounds good?

oddly enough, my battery life seems to have improved slightly with iOS5. my iPhone 4 feels a bit more zippy too.

SG will get the 4S before Dubai. Not expected to hit my side till end Nov / early Dec, but it will be unlocked, no contract. Too much hoo-ha about it not being the 5, but the improvements are pretty good. People should have seen this coming - let's see : complete the sequence:

Hmmm....looks like I will be spending time over the weekend to download and arrange the apps.

The first Restore will bring back your data. Then go back into iTunes and make sure 'Sync Apps' is selected. That will bring your apps back. You'll need to re-sort them though
