Starting golf... again!

Hi !

Just a quick post to intro myself.

Am new in Golf Republic. Find it a great resource to find out about golf - especially from a local perspective. Looks like there are many helpful people here! Very Happy

Anyway, I took up golf about 7 years ago. Got my PC (did not get a handicap...) and played for about 2 years... Was never very good (most times, score about 75 or so - for the first 9 holes! Embarassed

). However, a slip disc caused me to stop such 'vigorous activities'....

So it's been 5 years and now, I am keen to start all over again - thanks to encouragement from my brother (think he's short of kakis worst off than him... tongue

).

Have gone down to the range a few times and am currently using the old model Callaway X22... So far, can get about 60-70% of the balls to fly but without much accuracy! Sigh...

Hope to start some lessons soon and get a handicap before the year ends!

Am looking forward to reading all the interesting postings in the forum!

Where do you range at?

So far, only at Marina Bay. Will be starting lessons at Laguna.

there are just a few things to note:

1. Ready to TCSS
2. Ready to go 'oohhhh' and 'ahhhh' as you admire the equipment on parade......fm what i know, this is the unofficial ' Padang' for equipment parade
