Everyone tells me you are a good player. Even won some events. Hope to play with you in the same flight some day. As I've mentioned before, I think you have got character.

| I've also heard that UL plays pretty consistent golf. I don't know UL's scores but no one says that they are bad scores | |

i'd been playing golf around 4 - 5 yrs, but never seriously till about 6 - 8 mths before then, when i started taking serious lessons and buy a decent set of clubs + driver fitting from bfg...
but after that, i din break 100 again for another 4 mths... haha
i'm not exactly a full time golf junkie...my golf regime is range once a week which include short game + putting practice, and 1x18 hole on weekend if possible. and now lennylim is threatening to break 90s or have you already broken it and gone into the high 80s? mr christo, i must try to break 90 when i play with you mah... else i cannot keep up with you...

| it is easy to break 100. just aim to play to a bogey to every hole and u have 10 strokes buffer.
Breaking 90 is harder, 80 even more. 70 even even more.
60? lets see u try it~ | |

| Now playing too hard can also be a disadvantage. Sometimes, it's worthwhile to take a short break, go back to fixing the flaws and starting again. For me, I lose the most strokes at: 1. 5m-25m distance - I'm trying hard to build confidence in my wedges. I tend to cock my wrists which results in a 'broken' follow-through. 2. 140m-170m distance - my long irons are a pain (5i and 4i). Need to work on these. 3. Driver shots. I tend to slice these if I'm not careful. I'm come outside-in I find that I've improved in my putting, long wedges and short irons. But, consistency is always the key so practice, practice, practice.. I must. | |

| for techno s/n 1, i found adopting a putting grip and stroke helps to eliminate the unwanted wrist action. but i wont push it to beyond 20m with such a stroke. | |

KopiO, what kind of putting grip you're suggesting ? I have the same problem with putting, too much wrist movement...

| Practice, yes. only if you practice the right way. A senior golfer once told me, dont spend too much time in the range, otherwise you will be PERFECTING YOUR MISTAKE. If you cant keep the ball straight, stop and find out why, not continue hitting!! I play less than 100 balls for every range session. | |

I have the same problem with putting, too much wrist movement... wah... how to describe or show... think it's like Tiger's one, overlapped (not interlocked) with the left forefinger down along the knuckles of the right hand... at one stage, i even have the right forefinger align to the putter grip... one day we go to the den and share lor

Wah.. Not easy. I've tried this before. I end up hooking the shot because of the grip... then again, I've got a pretty strong grip to start.

one day we go to the den and share lor LOL doing the same after reading it in somewhere. Basically a putting stroke, really useful since i am hopeless with the wedge close in. Was going to buy a chipper due to my frustrations but read about this method and abandon the chipper idea.
