Come 15 June, Malacca will be a smoke free state.
Anyone caught smoking will be fined RM300.

Hmmmm, wonder if they will send enforcement officers onto golf course to spot check?

When they mentioned that its smoke free state I would think its more for the hotels and restaurants where you can't smoke in-door. Out doors should not be affected.

Not sure whether outdoor or indoor.
But what I received is that the city area and 4 other designated areas south of Malacca are the first areas to pilot this initiative.

Traffic is always heavy in malacca town, so hard to have traffic offences.... So maybe this anti smoking thing is to........ Smile
