The rates stated in the link is for members only.. so sad..

That's rather strange leh .... the website says the winter rate for green fee is RMB270 per 18 holes .... which usually applies to non members only because members do not have to pay for green fee.

Of course in addition to green free, guests or visitors have to pay for buggy and caddie fee in China. For West Coast Golf, I paid RMB 130 for buggy and RMB 200 for caddie excluding the caddie tips.

That was what the person over the phone informed me when i called to enquire.. green fee plus buggy is RM1400.

Sorry for digging up this old thread. Anybody happen to know if the golf courses in Hainan allow 1-ball to play? I will be there end of the year, and am hoping to sneak in a round or two.

I think you are allowed to tee off alone on weekdays in Hainan. Last year (2011) in december, I played 1 ball at West Coast Golf in Hainan.
