Best courses in Hainan

For a 3D2N golf trip to Hainan, which are the courses not to be missed?

Went to 深圳 mission hill last Dec. this is the picture of one of the hole, look at the numbers of bunkers...

just read this month's golf digest ... and it said must play Blackstone and Lava Fields ...

One the best (to me) courses that I have played in Hainan is Boao Golf & Country Club.

One unique feature is that you will find clusters of pineapple like plants (with prickly leaves) growing all over the course. Sometime even right in the middle of the fairway! This is part of the landscaping and if your ball lands in there, basically the ball is lost beacuse you can't even go in to search (because of the prickly leaves)! The layout of the course is beautiful with some links style.

Remember, bring plenty, plenty of balls!!

just came back from the golf trip in Hainan .... gave rmb 100 as tip to caddy after each round.

In Hainan now, does anyone know the rate for a game here? Locals here are telling me it cost S$200 for a round of 18 hole..

The caddies at Mission Hills are very nice people..
Really bother to find your balls till they find it..
Usually we be telling them.. it's okay.. no need to find..
