Which country club will you buy?

Thanks guys. But how about the country clubs in malaysia JB?
Eg. PORESIA COUNTRY CLUB?
any feedbacks about them?

For the price, it is quite a good deal.
Selling pt for me is near to 2nd link plus i have 3 flights of kakis there.
So good enough for me.

Joyce...If you just need to know abt Poresia, why list all the clubs? If you have no budget, why buy country club membership in the first place? we can play golf at most clubs by paying guest green fees.

Understand youre a newbie, but how you ask the question has nothing to do being a newbie in golf

i suggest you think about what you like from country club membership, what criteria are important for you, then you do a little bit of homework first, by checking the websites of those clubs and other external sites (see original post from Coastguy) for available information such as prices, location, facilities etc

Narrow down your choices to two or three, THEN ask feedback from forumers about stuff that is not on the website like the course condition, service quality, the food quality, inside stories etc.

you ask right questions, you get good answers. Cheers!

Any club you join is as good as your kakis.
If you join a club and no kakis, then it's no use.
it will only be a white elephant.
Royal Johor is such a nice club for me, but i have more kakis at Poresia.
In fact i have lots of kakis at Poresia.

Advantages of Poresia.
a. Nearest to Singapore.. with good breakfast, lunch areas to have your fill before and after you play.
b. Dont cost a bomb.
c. Many kakis, even from GR.
d. There are 2 x 18 holes ( or 4 x 9 Holes to be exact).
e. Challenging course (can be a disadvantage for some)

Disadvantages
a. Cow Grass
b. Quite humid place to play golf because of closed plantation nearby.

i would like to hear from the other country clubs as well. i prefer it to be poresia as it is the nearest from singapore to JB as i often travel there. i would like to compare which is better. thats the reason why i need your comments here (:
