| Hi guys, just like to hear your views on which golf country club in SG is more worth buying as compare to the other. Currently i am considering these 3 clubs, Seletar, Keppel and Warren. (Views on any other clubs are welcome too..) Some of the considerations are: 1) Location/ accessibility during peak hours (I am staying in the North) 2) Price (not too expensive if not cannot afford) 3) Family orientated club/ golf programs for kids (not sure if my kids will pick up golf when they grow older) 4) Good course layout (challenging/ well maintain course) 5) Affiliated clubs (the more the merrier) 6) Any other considerations that you feel is worth taking into account? Just hope to get one before the expiry of my basic NSRCC membership. Not sure if below website is stating the actual current price. http://www.activegolf.com.sg/club_price.asp Any views are appreciated. Thanks in advance... | |

Plus the golf membership is waaay cheaper than keppel Hi bro, can share why you say that Warren is cheaper than Keppel? From the price list, Warren is $37000 and Keppel is $26000. But not sure if it is the latest price though. Tks..

| Keppel maybe due to a new place soon Coastguy, but when i mean soon, i mean a few years later so there will defintely be some top up required. It a depends on what u want in the club and how much golf you will be playing. I have warren social membership but i ended up buying nsrcc too because of all the kakis there too. | |

| why not play games at 3 clubs and also check out all the facilities available.
even with inputs from everyone here, you should decide for yourself which has a location convenient for you, has a golf course which you enjoy, has kakis that you can play games with, has facilities that suits your usage.

I also heard that Keppel is moving to a new location in abt 10 years time. Anyone know exactly where they are moving to? Current location a little too far, too much traffic during peak hours. But is the cheapest course now.

| Hi, Tg Puteri - 3 x 18 holes Full Membership: RM 6 k, monthly sub fee - RM 159 + RM 1 (Handicap Maintenance). The RM 6 k basically is transfer fee; those that given up on the club surrender to the club and they just transfer membership to you. Spouse pay same rate as members; so if you have somebody that "Resembles" a spouse; that kind of like 2 for the price of 1. Term Membership: RM 3.3 k (RM 200 F&B voucher will be given) - ONE YEAR, no monthly sub fee. No spouse. | |
