What happens when Country Club closes?

Hi GR-Bros,

Does anyone know what happens when a Singapore Country Club is unable to renew its lease from the Government and cannot relocate?

Does it:
1) Distribute the remaining monies to the members?
2) Donate the remaining monies to charity?
3) Offer a merger with another Country Club? Perhaps with members topping up some amount.

It's really hard to say. Since the club is run by the members themselves, they will decide the outcome of the country club.

it would depends on the club constitution.

for one of the clubs, its in their constitution that if the club dissolves, the monies is donated to charity.
