Hi, planning a game at Starhill country club this Friday. Anyone know the current condition of the courses there??
Also, any recommendations for good food around the golf course??

Played this morning. Not crowded at all (there was a total of 4 cars in the guest carpark!). There were more staffs than golfers i think....

The rough was rather long (balls took a while to find), greens were bumpy.

Nearby mainly malay mamak, if you want can head towards Sutera Mall nearby, plenty of eatries there.

By the way, every distance marker is in yards.

Happy calculations....

Can anyone advise the green fee on weekdays and weekends? It's been at least 10 years since last played there. Very Happy

Bro, unlike Palm Resort, Starhill Golf Club does not have motel for stay & play ... Laughing

The walking course, Bintang is interesting ... I like walking course as I felt like I am playing in a real tournament ... Cool

Oooo! Thought they might have stay & play since they have a hotel. Thanks for clarification. I love walking courses too. But hope it;s unlike JGCC where it's really tough and hilly, pale Worry old body cannot take it. Haha.  Very Happy

I think used to be Bermuda but there were quite some patches of cow grass on the fairway.

I played StarHill two weeks ago, it was raining the whole afternoon , but i still enjoyed myself. It was however quite wet and some areas on the green was flooded with water , especially the bunkers. However condition wise , i would give it a 60 percent out of a 100 percent , if its wet weather , then 40% of good condition of the course. I hope it somehow helps.
