Newbie looking for Golf pro recommendations

A great forum I must say. Have just relocated to SG and started up golf again after a 5 year divorce from the game. Taking on the advice of some forum members here, I would like to get lessons first before bad habits are in grained. Would appreciate if anyone could recommend teachers located at either MBGC or Toh Payoh Driving range.

Hi! I go to Toa Payoh Driving Range as well, when do you normally go there?

I am newbie too, took lessons at Toa Payoh golfers.sg under Vincent. I learnt in a group of 3 friends and got my PC not too long ago. He's not too bad I find.

Had a wonderful time learning from him. He turned pro at age 17! Amazing!

They do have promotions from time to time. I learned with another person, paid $450 each.

Hi Proudbanana, do have a look at our resident pros. They are all fantastics and often contributed excellent advises to the forumers here. There is not a single coach that suits everyone, I would suggest that you have a chat with them and find out whether you feel comfortable and motivated. I, for one, went to shorthitter (Allen Kelly) at Laguna after partnering him during one of GR games i.e. seeing with my own eyes his easy but powerful swing... oh another thing is that the club location is convenient for me as well.
