Personally I adopt Gym training patterns at the range.
Warm-up > start work out > warm down. And every training targets at specific muscles.

Hence, i break up my practice into different areas
- LW - 8irons & putter (chip & putt)
- LW - 8irons (pitch, long chip and run, sand bunker)
- 7irons onwards, hybrid, FW & driver (long game)

For practices,
- warm up & working on swing mechanics( mostly practise swing)
- target practice
- warm down with half swings (distance control)
* for long game days, warm down with punch shots.

But then again, if only I have the time to do all these 3 session each week...
