| Does anyone here carry a 46˚ "branded" wedge, instead of the PW which came with your irons set. While I like my X-20 irons, I'm not particularly fond of the PW. There's something about the clubface/weight which feels a little odd to me. I'm more used to the specialized wedges like the CGs or Vokeys. Since I know people who swap out their SWs in exchange for 60˚ CGs of Vokeys, I wonder if there are people who do the same for the PWs.
Anyone? | |

| Thanks, SS, for the info. I guess that you don't then. Hmm... perhaps I'm just weird. | |

| You're not weird; some ppl prefer their wedges to look and feel the same; after all the wedges are meant for getting close to the pin and scoring around the greens. Perhaps why most ppl don't is maybe because the usual golf iron set already comes with a PW and it seems like a waste of money to replace the PW.
I don't because my J33 combo set; 8 to PW to 60* all look about the same

| I do but mine is 48 deg Vokey. Reason...I find 48 deg wedge more stable in executing 1/4 & 1/2 swing instead of e regular pitching iron. | |

Yah, I noticed that Vokeys only do 48s, not 46s. I'm tempted. Thanks kinkipet!

| My Vokey PW is a 46* Proto. Its all bashed up, lead-taped up and grinded by me. I have my irons all bent 1* strong to cater to my higher ball flight. I play 2 other wedges oni. 52 and 60. No requirements for the 56 Sand Wedge as it has no place in my distance gaps. | |

| Oh.. what was interesting for me to read is that YE Yang only carries 2 wedges (48 and 58*). I would have thought that most pro's would carry more wedges. WITB-Yang | |

I would have thought that most pro's would carry more wedges. WITB-Yang who need more wedges when your 3 hybrid can get u to 8 feet of the hole....but his FW is a bit strong..13 degrees!!!!
