What prompted you to take up golf?

I think my Dad felt that I was lazing around doing nothing and given this, I should be doing some charity work.

I am now... feeding buayas.

i have tried every sport/game.. golf is one that i suck at least.. not that i'm any good at it..
and i don't get tired out cause i hate to exercise..

Honestly, on a golf course, you see the true nature of a man. How do you react to a flushed drive? Do you repeat that with pulled sand wedge to the front bunker or do you hop, and stop it to a tap in birdie? Do you shoot a 7 on a par 5 and write down a 6?

So, it's a game within a game that hooked us and is also that which is making us coming back for more.

Hmm..... Dress like a pimp~

I guess its the only sport that you can wear up to the nines and folks look at you like its the most natural thing!

friends & greenery

i was chio several times by my regular drinking kakis to take up golf so i can join their so called 'saturday group' to play golf. in order to encourage me on, they had given me a used sets with war scars. my wife had found an interest in golf too. so we will be taking up golf lesson together at laguna.

The sports I played since school days was Basketball (when MJ ruled) and TV sports I watched was NBA. Each weekend games always ended with bruises or scratch mark. Also the youngsters are getting taller and bigger size. My "old" man body can no longer tahan the knocks.

One day, after coming back from my usual Sunday game with some bruises, my wife decided that I should call it a day from playing basketball and pick up golf. She signed up for a 4 pax lesson for us and another couple and the rest is history......

In fact, one of her girl friend commented that she is silly to encourage me to play golf (because golf is addictive and takes long hours). Basketball outing for me used to be only only 2-3 hrs whereas golf outing is ~ 5-6 hrs. Nowadays, I only play Golf and sports TV I watched is PGA.

I would like to thank my wife for introducing me to this game

Almost the same story with me and my footballing career. Coming back with injuries after a football game didn't please my wife....
