| i am stay in Chinatown but getting to MBGC via ECP or Nicole Highway seems further than metaking the CTE straight to TPY. Anybody can recommend any range nearer to my place too? | |

Keppel Club. Used to go there when my office was at Tg Pagar.

- OCC range with the color code and reference to the distance is really wierd!
Why don't they just indicate the distance that's what golfer wants to know.
Example 30m 50m 70m 100m 150m 180m 200m this would be fine!
From different bay will have different distance to the markers... at least they give u a better gauge Facility wise golf ball system is good but the Color code system is one of the worst u can find! Every time when u hit a ball u look for the color code?? Why can't OCC be like others and easy reference for golfers to see. Just place 50m, 75m 100m, 150m 180m & 200m period!

| Actually, I like ranges with both colour flags and distance signboard. It's easier to pinpoint exact distance.
but anyone know where to find the colour flag distance at MBGC?

but anyone know where to find the colour flag distance at MBGC? Actually the distance is only a guide: a. Range balls do not produce same distance as the balls we used. b. Because of elevation, what we see is not what we get... our balls land further because we are teeing off on high ground in MBGC. I suppose balance the two.. if you tee off on Level 3, it will be an accurate representation.. LPPL, lah!

but anyone know where to find the colour flag distance at MBGC? I usually just use my range finder to find the distances at the range... Mine also is a slope version so if i am standing on higher floors i can quite accurately tell the correct distance

Turf City and Sentosa GC are the two grass ranges in Singapore i was the map, it's quite isolated ler. what is the nearest public transport to reach there? I think i will grow my own bermuda grass

| Oh btw bro, even though there's free shuttle service, the range was so deep in that i ended up taking a cab to the Turf City entrance to catch the shuttle.. Best to just drive in or cab in lol | |

| turf city best for iron practice...can be pro at driving range, go turf city, ball fly all over, and taking chunks of dirt and sand.
Also playing in the sun like real condition, not on a comfortable sheltered range with fan blowing at you. ground slope some more.
Not sure if still the same, last time lots of sand and small stone, my good condition black nickel wedge became shiny white at the sole. Now its a rust magnet.
the drive in is already hot enough, not sure about the walking from turf city to the driving range....and back!!!!!

Haha bro, sounds like you had the experience of walking to and from the range. I tried walking, then saw a cab 5m away from the range, so i asked him to take me to the entrance. Cost 3.60 from range to entrance lol
