Cheapest Range for practice

Dear all,

I am not trying to start a war, but I like to know if there are cheaper per ball per dispenser.
I usually hang around in the east, so I am very unfamiliar with the ones on the west.

I do drive, so I'm cool to go "see see look look" at other driving range.

I usually hang around toa payoh if I want to "see" my accuracy. But for other practices, Bishan seems to be the most affordable ones.

MBGC non peak is the cheapest i think. COs the balls also good and clean.

CDAN has one hour unlimited if you go off-peak.

For members, it is $6.00 for 100 balls, $3.00 for 50 balls.
For non-members, it is $8.00 for 100 balss, $4.00 for 50 balls.
But when you top up $50, they give you 350 balls free...

So, for $50, you get 350 + 800 = 1150 balls... 4.3 cents per ball.

You can try Fairway Club at Yuan Ching Rd..

$1.80 for 100 balls before 2pm on weekdays..

However after 2pm or weekends $6.80 for 100 balls..

Can also try the range at executive course at Mandai..

$4.00 for 120 balls before 2pm on weekdays..

$4.00 for 80 balls after 2pm and on weekends..

It seems that alot of good stuffs are in the west!
Will try out those ranges mentioned. FYI. I have not been to these driving ranges before.

If I remember correctly there is a small bar at te range, it is facing the carpark I think. Should have beer ba

sembawang country club has super off peak every tue to friday, from 0700 to 1300(could be 1400). 100 balls for $2. have to buy the card though. minimum $25 with $20 credit, but card is refundable if it's in good condition. buy from the cafe located at the ground floor of the driving range.

yea, i agree non peak is very affordable, was there in the afternoon, before 4pm 10 bucks for 251 balls Smile

Fairway Driving Range non-peak offers S$1.80 for 100 balls. Daily from 11am-4pm except Tuesday which is Maintenance Day.

Got to look at the condition of the balls and the mat too. No point paying cheap for the balls where you are getting badly conditioned balls and almost worn out mats. Badly conditioned ball may damaged your clubs and worn out mats may injured your elbows. These are two reasons why i am going to stop going bishan driving range even when the range is of walking distance away.

I agree with duffader the condition of bishan range is really bad though it is near my place

i agree with duffader about the mat condition. but they've just broken out brand new balls. might wanna go take a look. Smile

Fully acgree with bro, Bishan matt is one of the worse so far it damage your elbow,
(Tennis Elbow) I stop going there for long time already, btw Golfzone opened so many shops there all of a sudden all closed including Far East Shopping Centre!!!

Strongly Recommend MBGC if you stay near the city.

Point to Note: Petrol cost will supersede the bulk of cost of *many small little balls*
