| Should I practice with tee or without for my 3 wood. Can seem to launch it well. But in real life if hitting off a fairway, also cannot tee it up. | |

| In My Opinion!!! You should practice without a tee at the Range Even if you were to use it for a short Par4 and have to tee it up, your tee height is also almost non existent | |

| Practice teeing off with a 3w, and playing it off the deck. Both are worth practicing if you find yourself in situations where you tee off with a FW and when you have to play it on the fairway as your 2nd shot. | |

| Get those adjustable tees and tee it up. However, dun tee it too high. Just slightly above the ground level is good enuff.
When you get more proficient, you can try practicing without the tee.
When you are starting out, do yourself a favour and make practicing as easy as possible. This will do tons for your confidence in ballstriking.
Its a 3wd. Most amateurs can't hit it off the ground properly anyway so dun be too disheartened if you can't initially. | |

| Ok thanks all for sharing. A little lazy to change tee between clubs. I think I'll just practice without and make sure it can launch properly first before using a tee. | |

| Practice on those mats with 2 holes and place a short tee for ur hybrids and woods. U might be teeing off some holes with hybrid and woods might as well practice them on range | |

| Try OCC range. The mat is as good asshot tee teeing up. Confidence building especially if you want to train your FWDs and Hybrids. | |

| My experience of practicing 3 woods in the range, I practice with tee first, do until I can hit 5 good shots, then I start without a tee. Now a days, I practice without a tee. When the 3 wood is not doing any good, I practice 5 wood. Until I get a good hit on 5 wood, I change to 3 wood again. | |
