no leh... i hit only ard 100.... got shanking prob at the range... perhaps i shld go less, if not i will feel very insecure..... BUAYA!! You can alos go range with some of the GR forumers ... after you see how hardworking they are and how good their golf is, you'll be inspired to train harder (either that or you'd be disgusted enough with your golf that you'll change hobby hahah) This morning, a couple of GR guys jio me to the range. I was so impressed with their golf and disgusted with my own golf, that I went back to the range this evening to try to swing better

Did the evening training direct your swing towards better results? I am too trying to get inspiration...currently top of the list is via watching PP swing...

| so freakin' disgusted with my round today... kept going right. then i remember tiger's tip... dun fight your swing, if it's cutting then aim left and just swing. so, i did just that... and the damn ball went even further right while my partner was bombing drives and regulation on... i felt so so inferior i should go to the range everyday now | |

| Setting goals and most importantly, timelines to achieve them. These are what is driving me to go range as early as 7am in the morning. There must be something to achieve even at the range and not about hitting a number of balls then go home... Good to have a few mates to check on your shots but when there are to many, it becomes a crowd. | |

| I too need some encouragement to go to range... These days not much interest. Sigh! Even retail therapy doesn't work anymore. Sit back and watch TV.... Mr Couch Potato... | |

my problem is transferring what i did well at the range to the course... at the range, everything good... on the course, all gone

my problem is transferring what i did well at the range to the course... at the range, everything good... on the course, all gone For me, every single shot on the range, I will try to remember the swing. So sometimes, i hit a bad shot, I will try to repeat it again so that i know what went wrong and correct it.

| for me, i try to remb the feeling of the good shot from the green.... (the thgts, the feel and the knowledge tht i can pull it off)
then try to do it in the range to re-confirm the feel... but more often then not, it's very hard....

SS, like i say... i always juz try to keep up with the players from my flight... try not to slow them down... NB.. Jake.. go find someone better to call mentor lah.. See S70B... so bloody good liao still when something not quite right, he goes to see his coach and gets some corrections. I go range because I'm afraid that I'll shank badly and injure someone on the golf course. Going to the range yourself without a proper idea/direction on what to do is probably just as bad for your golf unless you treat it as an exercise session.

| Too bad, I have to self help here.
The Casio High Speed Camera really is very handy when it comes to self analysis. Furthermore, its so much cheaper here than Sg although buying online doesn't enable you to have the freebies like SD card, tripod and cover. Nevertheless, it will be another gadget to bring along for my golf outings.
Been reading up on Stan Utley's 'The Art of Putting' again. Was a good refresher on my basics after a while and I managed to get a few birdies today playing blind on a tough Jack Nicklaus course.
