| My driver ss is 100mph , fast tempo , early release. However launch is very low . Present driver shaft is speeder 569 r flex with a Epon ZR460 9.5 . Thought of changing to a Epon af101 10.5 with Ozik TP6 r flex to increase launch . Can anyone help if selection is good ? All my other clubs launch are OK except for my driver. Need any advise or comments to improve launch. Thks | |

| if your driver speed is really 100mph and have a quick tempo, you should not use a shaft thats below 65 g, let alone a r flex.
569 is in the low 50g.
Have fun finding out why and it would be interesting how you found out your swing speed is 100 mph.

| I kinda of liken this as going to see clinic to see doctor and going to pharmacy to buy medicine.
unless one is very berry sure of one's self diagnosis...better to see doctor first.
OK....now golf.......my 0.2cents....best to see doctor...aka fitter

| if your driver swing speed is 100 mph, your 7 iron distance is likely to be more than 150 meter. thats a likely gauge.

| Hi Eric, if my 7i is only 130 to 135m. Am I right to say my driver swing speed is around 80mph?
How can one increase swing speed?

| skybobo..yours is like to be in the 85 mph range for driver...unless you are using a strong lofted iron.
there are ways to increase distance without increasing swing speed but increasing efficiency like smash factor.
other ways to increase swing speed include improving technique (which is most preferred and often involved getting professional isntructions) or by doing exercises or strengthen core muscles.

if they are using a speed meter which is often based on movement or shadow, this will not be accurate. best to get analyse on a radar base system which can track club head and ball speed as well as spin rate and other essential information. DGman

That shop measurement is not accurate, they tend to give you higher reading to feed potential buyer egos. I know because I was stationed in Bangkok for 1 year. That shop belows to Transview too.

DGman Wah this means my ball striking is horrible. My driver ss about 105, but average carry is only around 235-240, and 7i is 135-140m. I need more lessons.
