10.00am Getting Fit For Golf
Mr Darek Lam
Senior Physiotherapist
Changi Sports Medicine Centre
A good pain-free swing requires you to have good posture, flexibility and strength. At times, our body can get weaker and stiffer as we age. This affects performance and may causes injuries. Specific golf rehabilitation and conditioning exercises can help to alleviate the aches and pains, and prolong pain-free golf on the course.

10.30am Understanding The Roots of Swing Mechanic For Long Term Injury Prevention
Mr Lip Ooi

Getting fit for golf alone does not prevent injury as the source of the injury commonly results from poor swing mechanics. Every golf swing is unique. Without a good understanding of how swing biomechanics works, a poor swing repetitions will definitely wear your body out.
