prototype 2 is on its way. the refinement will be in weight control. we basically have the putter at 370 g and the putter can be tweaked to 395 g to suit the speed of the green. we should have this in under a month from now. but nothing available as we will not be making more than the prototype user base nos.

For the ZIM, there are 2 to 3 new patents that are filed or being filed right now. there are 4 types of hosel - MS, S neck, CS and DB.

Played with a usual kaki on Sun morning, the angmo with all the BFG covers (SB) who calls me Uncle Eric...he was using an old ZAM Proto 2 for the first time. he had a few bad holes on the back 9 and shot 79, but his putting confidence is at a all-time high.

now he is trying to convince me to sell him that beat up ZAM with the orange Iomic grip.

Had wanted to start a new thread on my new toy......But thought otherwise in the end.
Ta-dahhhhh......my new toy......Zen ZIM putter!~~

Brought it out earlier for its virgin few rolls at Laguna practice green. This baby with the lambo lookalike exhaust is sweet to the max. The roll is so pure as you would expect from a Zen putter. Had quite a few hole-ins from 15 feet beyond despite the patchy green.

But wait, the awesome part about this baby is the 'subconscious' alignment aid. Makes it so easy to line up the putt, aim and putt away.

The feel of this putter is a more meaty feel i.e. heavier as compared to the ZAM model. But I like this feel. Gives me a more solid feel upon contact of putter with ball.
I am thinking that this putter will work very well on fast greens coz somehow there seems to be some 'remote control' that prevents the putter-er from hitting the ball past the hole to much.

All in all, simply by lining up the putt give me tremendous confidence in my putting, and that's considering that using the ZAM model gave me much putting confidence already.

Now, all I need to do now is to take this WMA out onto the course for field testing.

wow asahi, you beat me to our second zen!

I actually had my name written on a box of zap (for reservation) until I got poisoned to get the K first. So i'm patiently saving (and selling my extra clubs) for that zap.

Really want to test that left hand zen out on course. Who knows maybe I can putt better with the right hand low...it sure felt solid on the den's putting mat. More solid than my default stroke.

Panji, just bring more buns ala WMF to the Den and ask DGman nicely.
Who knows? He may just let you loan it out for a field test.

Been waiting for the ZIM for quite some time Liao. From it's infancy stage when it was just a plastic mould, I fell in love with it already. That's why fast hand fast finger.
Next poison, methinks, would be driver shaft. Once I got it stabilized, will see what the doctor prescribe.
