First Impressions of My Spanking New ZEN ZAM (Mid Slant Neck Anser Style)

Just realised mine is the ZAM!!! Had my first round with it this afternoon. The feel of the putt was smooth and the click sound was very pleasing.

The ball rolls better and it seems to go further then my Scotty. Especially on long putts, I have the tendency to fall short alot, sometimes a good 6-9 feet short. However, with the ZAM, the ball rolls willingly to the hole.

Today, most my putts past the hole, even on long putts that fall short, it was just over a putter length which i easily putt them in..

Tomorrow another round with it.. Hoooray!!

2nd outing with ZAM this morning.. the feel gets better... the ball continue to roll truely and pass the hole.. it definitely boosted my confidence in putting..

suddenly... i have feeling of sinking putts from 6-10 paces! Although the ball did not drop in.. but most just missed about two inches off.. that could be the line of putt issue..

Agreed. Esp on big greens in Kranji, the pressure is really on to get the ball REAL close. For Par 4 and 5 that I cannot GIR, I hope to either get within my fav wedge yardage or get close to chip close. Snakes really is very good for forcing one to concentrate and play smart

Hmm... Got ZEN ZAM, ZEN ZIM, ZEN ZAC ... Hopefully if the nappa style comes out it is called ZEN ZUN... So that it can always aim zun zun to the hole

The next one will have parts that you can modify with aftermarket weights, quick-fit shafts, etc, and will be called the Zen ZHNG

Hi folks, here's my 2nd field review of the putter. Truly, I am running out of praises for this piece of trusty weaponry.
Now, it was pouring prior to today's 0712 tee off. Started a wee bit late
In the drizzling rain. In my heart, I knew it was going to be a tough day from the tee boxes and on the fairways, courtesy of slippery grips and lousy iron shots.

What carried me thru today was undoubtedly the ZEN putter. Yes folks, I repeated last week's 29 putts again, with 7 one putts from at least 6 feet away from pin. Front nine did 13 putts with 5 one putts and i thought I was going to go lower than 29, had it not been for 3 lip outs on the back nine.

Today's torrid green condition posed no barriers at all for the pure roll exhibited by the putter. It was as if the wet conditions were not there at all. Played with a friend's friend today in the same flight and he was so impressed with my nailing of 3 10 feet putts that he used my putter for 3 holes on the back nine. And there, we have a convert!

This has truly been an investment well worth it's bronze weight.
Had it not been for it, think my scores would have been unpresentable.
Hmmm,,,, with the blade putter performing so well, I shudder to think what the ZIM putter can do. I am so salivating and waiting in anticipation for it!

Fresh from Bukit Merah yesterday, DGMan was nice to give me the open series despite me being late in the game. I called it the Black Mamba (with hopes of replicating Kobe's clutch). DGman called it the Exorcist (antidote for all white TM Ghosts out there...)

I love how it looks, I love how it feels. Cant wait till next month (sigh...) for my next game. Thank you Eric!
